As an alternative power source a 1.2v or 1.5v batterey is sometimes in the eyes of the power. Because a single led course at least requires 2.4v - 3.5v to be burning.
But now there is no need to wonder if one 1.2v batterey can turn on tens of led. Even a 220v AC lead, also energy-saving CFL lamps are also able to light up with Joule Thief Series.

This time I want to share how the Led 12v joule thief emergency light with 1.5v baterrey only able to last up to almost a year and has never changed batterey until now.
It's really his life only when there is a blackout PLN only. With a duration varying between 30 minutes, 2 hours sometimes 6 hours more when his pln again recurrent. Until almost this year also appears batterey no signs of weakening.

The choice of using Batterey 1.5v jumbo is my very recompense. Because the current capacity is more when compared to 1.2v batterey. Just maybe a more jumbo look too of course.
While on the circuit circuit joule thief only need to add capacitor / elko to make batterey current more stable.
